No. By printing on the album, it is basically a work of art ready for its second life (hence, Take 2) and not an album anymore… You could possibly play the back side just for fun (sometimes we do!) but use an old turntable and stylus that you don’t care about.
No, we have virtually an unlimited supply of vinyl records that we will happily save from the landfill. We only use 110 gram or higher vinyl albums (none of that really flimsy stuff!). We save the flimsy stuff for crafters that need it. If you are a crafter and need some vinyl, send us an email.
No. Legal disclaimer: If we notice anything that remotely looks like porn or copyrighted material, we will not print it.
Currently we are using USPS media mail and we charge $6.00 for packaging/handling/shipping. No matter how many you order, it will be $6.00. Having stated that, at any time the USPS could deem that these upcycled vinyl albums are not “media mail” and not allow us to ship so cheaply. If that happens then unfortunately the price will rise. (and/or we will find a different shipper.)
Yes, absolutely we can, but right now we are focusing on upcycling old vinyl records because they are cool, quirky, and it feels like we are helping out future generations by keeping them out of the landfill where they will never biodegrade
